Data for General Government Operations are compiled in accordance with the ESA 2010 guidlines, the ESA 2010 Manual on Government Deficit and Debt, which are also consistent with the 2008 SNA and GFSM. General Government Operations include transactions for the central government, local government and social security funds. Data are consolidated within subsectors and within general government sector. Transactions are valued in accordance with the ESA 2010 regulation, are recorded on an accrual basis and are presented as cumulative from 1.1. of the respective year.
