In accordance with EU directive 2011/85 from 8. November 2011 on the collection and dissemination of fiscal data, the Slovak Republic publishes data on liabilities owned by general government. Liabilities are defined as the stock of liabilities at the end of the year as reported in the individual financial statements of public corporations. The public corporations are defined as corporations with the ratio of public ownership of the capital 50 % and more. For the public corporations partially owned by the general government, only the part of liabilities corresponding to the government participation in the capital was taken into account. Public corporations classified in the general government sector were excluded from calculations. |
